The decommissioned Seaholm Power Plant has been virtually out of reach for all Austinites since its construction in the 1950’s. For years, the Art Deco building has held a great deal of mystery to passersby due to its looming presence and restricted access. But things changed in October as Rare was given access to Seaholm to host the first large scale public events at the power plant. From ACL afterparty with Broken Social Scene to a New Year’s Eve bash with Flosstradamus, we’re bringing the party to the plant. Visit the Live at Seaholm website for upcoming events.

We’ve come together with some of the best restaurants in Austin for a week of decadence and fine flavors. Make reservations with one of our featured dining spots during Austin Restaurant Week for fabulous lunches ($10–$15) and three-course dinners ($25–$35). It’s your chance to try a new place or check out an old favorite. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Sustainable Food Center.
Join us this fall for our annual bridal affair, which brings together anything and everything an Austin bride could want for her wedding. We’ll host a unique selection of Austin wedding vendors from bakeries and florists to photographers and venues, while providing complimentary food samplings and cocktails. Live music and an out-of-the-ordinary bridal fashion show complete the event.
